September 2017, Xinjiang China - XAIRCRAFT has successfully organised and conducted large scale plant protection operations for over 130,000 hectares of cotton in early Autumn this year.
It is the first time XAIRCRAFT initiates an operation in such large scale, collaborating with more than 600 operators and teams from all over China. A total of over 1000 sets of P20 were operating in Xinjiang, which is a major cotton plantation province in Northwest China.
Cotton plantation is a core agriculture business in Xinjiang. During harvest season, hectares of cotton plantations need defoliation before picking. It is getting difficult to find labor to do hand spraying work at this time of year, as it is labor intensive work and cost getting higher for local farmers.
Therefore, more and more farmers adopt XAIRCRAFT’s efficient and cost effective solution using fully autonomous UAVs and comprehensive operation management systems. P20 has gained wide range of recognition in the region through out the years. Apart from defoliation, local farmers also use P20 for pesticide and fertiliser sprayings.
XAIRCRAFT started operating in Xinjiang from 2014. The company built an operation centre in Xinjiang providing not only plant protection service, but also equipment sales, maintenance support and other support.
